The purpose of this course is to provide an opportunity for children to discover sailing.
The Darwin Sailing Club, with the support of the NT Minnow Association, offers a course before the Dry season starts for children 7 to 16 years of age.
One instructor and one assistant instructor (both are Yachting Australia certified) run the sailing sessions in a safe environment at Cullen Bay Marina.
Two time slots are available, it also allows enough time for the children to enjoy themselves without getting too tired or restless with an outdoor activity. The main focus for this activity is for them to have fun and learn to enjoy being on the water!
