Junior DSC Squad

This course is dedicated to the Minnow Sailors with own boat and who want to improve their racing skills.

The program runs between April and mid November, with breaks during the school holidays.

It is possible to join the DSC Squad at any time. As the group is limited to 6 sailors, it is easy for the instructor to adapt the level of training to each child.

During this course, emphasis is placed on personal development and skill acquisition with no bearing placed on competition between the children.

To be eligible for this program, a child must be able to rig their Minnow on their own (the instructor will help put up the mast).

Course details: 5 x 2 hour session on Wednesdays

Dates: Half school term during term 2 and 3, first half of term 4 (see exact dates below)

Venue: Darwin Sailing Club (Near the Rotunda)

Time: 16.30 to 18.30

Group: 6 children maximum
